Staph Study

Today Pippa came in to take some more swabs of children in our class. She also brought in swabs to show us how to test for bacteria. First we swabbed three surfaces (toilet seat in the boys toilet, the door handle to Room 11 and the tap in Room 10). We then rubbed the swab on an agar plate for the bacteria to grow in the lab. The plates will kept in a warm place and Pippa will bring them back next time she is here. We can't wait to see them!
